The Challenge
Australia’s largest coal producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal has been a long term user of CR Powered by Epiroc dragline buckets and strives to continually optimize fleet productivity.
The Solution
The Hurricane 2.0 dragline bucket was developed to lift dragline productivity benchmarks and represents the most technically advanced dragline bucket in the industry. Working closely with site to analyze existing performance benchmarks of the Hurricane fleet, CR was able to optimize a new generation Hurricane 2.0 to add further payload to each cycle.

Study shows 57m Class Hurricane 2.0 dragline bucket delivered significant gains over the benchmark Hurricane on the same 8200 dragline.
