The mechanically attached lip, GET, and wear system provides unrivaled lip protection, reducing maintenance demands compared to conventional plate lips for front end loaders with weld-on adapters and wear protection.
The stabilization system is integrated into the lip, eliminating hollow areas in adapters, making them tougher and less likely to break.
Precise Fit. Exceptional Protection.
Machined adapter stations result in a meticulously tight fit, eliminating peening and giving unparalleled wear protection.
Intuitive Locking System
Your maintenance team will thank you for the simplified GET locking systems that don’t demand special training or tools.
The TLC boasts low-profile mechanical adapters that reduce carryback and improve penetration. Carryback is material left in the bucket after each pass. Reducing carryback enables you to increase your front end loader’s payloads. Higher penetration adapters improve dig rate and fill time. Result: you’ll be moving more dirt in less time.
Save on Maintenance
A snug fit between lip and adapter is crucial to protect the lip from wear. When lips aren’t adequately protected, you spend more time and money on maintenance, not to mention lost productivity as buckets spend longer in the shop.
TLC protects your wheel loader buckets in four key ways:
- Machined adapters fit snugly onto lips, reducing movement and protecting the entire surface area of the lip better than conventional plate lip systems for wheel loaders with weld-on adapters and wear protection.
- The integrated attachment system means that once the adapters are on, they stay on.
- Our stabilizers are integrated into the lip, not the adapter, eliminating external stabilization and making them lower profile, stronger, and less likely to break.
- The built-in, mechanically-attached wear plate system and GET eliminate hot work, saving time and protecting your lips from heat-affected zones which can crack under pressure.
Installation is a Breeze
Mechanically attached GET makes installation quick and easy. The locking mechanisms are intuitive – your maintenance team won’t need special tools, additional training, or to do any welding.
“In my experience, my customers have had success and longevity with Berkeley Forge lips. From what I’ve seen over the last 20 years, the lips have needed minimal repairs compared to competitors’ lips. Since 2001, we’ve supplied 6 front end loader (FEL) lips and 13 dipper lips to a customer in British Columbia. All the dipper lips are still in service, and the first FEL lip was changed out after 18 years of service. I would highly recommend this product to any customer.”
