Bears Brighten Kids Day at Ronald McDonald House

Joining Forces with the Build-A-Bear Foundation

The CR Mining and CR Digital teams in Western Australia joined forces with the Build-A-Bear Foundation, to make cuddly bears for children facing and undergoing treatment for life-threatening or chronic illnesses.

Over the last 20 years, the Build-A-Bear Foundation has provided in-kind contributions to registered charities and non-profit organizations that support the well-being of children through opportunities to make their days a little bit brighter. Build-A-Bear believes in the power of hugs and the simple comfort of having a furry friend by your side.

28 Bears Donated

Using their creative side, CR staff built 28 bears during their workshop before giving the bears a behind-the-scenes tour of the office. Later that week, the teddy bears were donated to the children at the Ronald McDonald House in Perth, bringing happiness and joy to those in need of a furry friend and hug.
