Our Dragline Product Range

We manufacture a wide range of dragline equipment, from state-of-the-art buckets to specialised rigging. All our products can be individually tailored to suit your specific needs, resulting in optimal productivity through reduced weight, maximising payloads and increasing uptime.

Our bucket and rigging products are complemented by comprehensive documentation, including maps and manuals. We also provide support in Australia with regular on-site inspections to assist with monitoring and management.

Dragline Buckets

Since its introduction in 2007, our Hurricane bucket range has set the standard for market leading productivity and reliability. The Hurricane dragline bucket has a wide, low profile and slimline lip design, resulting in a fast-filling, consistent and highly efficient excavating tool. Customers can expect to see production gains of up to 16% compared to traditional bucket designs.

How big are our Dragline Buckets?

In order to accommodate the wide range of draglines used in surface mining operations today, we individually size and build each of our buckets to maximise payload while minimising overloads.

  • Our smallest dragline buckets best suit models such as the CAT 8050 and Komatsu’s P&H 757, both of which have a bucket capacity of approximately 50 cubic metres and a boom length of approximately 100 metres.
  • Our medium-sized bucket works best for the CAT 8200 and the Komatsu P&H 9010, which share a bucket capacity of approximately 42-61 cubic metres and a boom length of approximately 100 metres.
  • Our large bucket is ideal for the CAT 8750 and the Komatsu P&H 9020C, which carry a bucket capacity of 76-116 cubic metres and 55-93 cubic metres, respectively, as well as a boom length of approximately 90-133 metres.
  • Our extra large bucket is intended for draglines such as the CAT 8750+ and the Komatsu P&H 9020XPC, which sport a bucket capacity of approximately 85-122 cubic metres, suspended from a boom of approximately 100-130 metres.
