CR’s Maryborough Foundry Welcomes Ministerial Visitors

Our Maryborough foundry hosted Energy Minister Mick de Brenni and Member for Maryborough Bruce Saunders on Tuesday, 21 September 2021.

The visit was in recognition of the new Electricity Tariff Adjustment Scheme (ETAS) introduced by the Queensland government.

Thanks to the support of Mr Saunders, the Minister, and the State Government, our foundry will receive transition rebates earmarked for regional manufacturers, protecting the future of the foundry in Maryborough and our 100+ valued employees.

Recognizing Our Employees

VIP foundry visit

“Our Maryborough foundry has over 100 years of history in the Wide Bay region, and the ETAS will help cement its future for our company, our employees, and the wider community.” said CR’s Executive General Manager Phil Sellers.

We passed the majority of our first monthly electricity rebate to our employees as a $500 bonus in appreciation of their hard work.

Mr de Brenni and Mr Saunders met with workers then enjoyed a tour of the foundry.
