CR (and American Industrial Partners) and Keech Castings have today announced they have entered into an agreement under which CR will acquire Keech’s underground business (Underground Ground Engagement Tools, “UGET”) including customer contracts, mining products, and all associated Intellectual Property. The acquisition includes Keech’s UGET WearPact™, ArmourBlade & new SNRG™ product lines.
The acquisition is a strategic move by CR to create a complete GET technology offering for both Open-cut and Underground mining products.
Former CR CEO John Barbagallo said the asset purchase would allow CR to broaden its suite of technology-driven products and solutions to customers across the globe.
