CQMS Razer presented mining partner Glencore with a charity donation towards their 2019 Beyond Bitumen rally fundraising efforts for Beyond Blue in March.
The “Thirsty Merc” vehicle set off on the rally with 90 other cars from Yass to Cowra in New South Wales, Australia along the way visiting country towns talking to people about what Beyond Blue do and how people shouldn’t be afraid to reach out and talk to somebody during the hard times.
The “Thirsty Merc” received the inaugural dig deep rally award for the most money raised by a first-time competitor, more than $13,500 for Beyond Blue by the team, contributing to the rally grand total in excess of $450,000. Plans are already underway for 2020 rally.
