Kim started working with CR Powered by Epiroc in 2022. She is thankful to be part of an industry that has shown positive inclusion of women in Mining. Her 20+ year background in Information Technology has helped her in her current role as Business Development Manager.
Kim says she is a “promoter” and works closely with Digital Solutions and Surface Mining teams. Colleagues in these teams have made her feel included and have played a large role in her personal development and success.

A day in the life of Kim’s role involves, “Engaging with customers to better understand their needs, collaborating internally with different teams to develop solutions, and maintaining existing relationships.”
CR has many programs, such as the Performance and Development Plan (PDP). This program allows employees across the company to create work and learning goals. These goals are supported by their respective managers and team.
“My goal is to build on our current and future customer base.”
In addition to her work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family outside the office, participating in jet-skiing and other outdoor water activities.
