Devin has been our Regional Sales Manager in Canada since 2020. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he joined CR Powered by Epiroc during uncertain times. Still, he navigated his way with support from his team. Outside of his role, Devin makes sure to spend time with his family, and enjoys many hobbies, “I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports like hockey and golf, and camping with my family of 5.”
As a Regional Sales Manager, Devin says he acts as a ‘Voice of the customer, engaging both internal and external stakeholders.’ During his day, Devin engages with customers, tracks product field performance, and collaborates with colleagues.
“No two days are the same, there are always opportunities to sell to different and new customers.”
While he describes his role as “Challenging,” his piece of advice for anyone considering this field is to, ‘Embrace a team atmosphere. No one can finish a project or be successful on their own so accept help from colleagues.’
Devin’s favourite part of the role is engaging with customers, meeting new people, listening to their challenges, and providing solutions wherever possible.
Everything Devin has done during his time with us has involved collaboration. Because CR Powered by Epiroc is a global company, it often means communicating with different teams worldwide.
“If you need help, there is always someone willing to give you a hand – this makes CR so different from the rest.”
Devin says this is his first time working in a company that collaborates with global teams. He says new technologies and online meeting systems make doing this easier than ever.
The support Devin has received from CR Powered by Epiroc has fuelled his motivation to commence his MBA, and he appreciates the exposure given across different areas of the company.
