Eric is a Marketing Coordinator for CR Powered by Epiroc and works out of our Portland office as part of the Americas team.
Eric describes his marketing path, “I completed my Associate Degree at Cascadia College in Bothell, Washington. Then transferred to Western Washington University in Bellingham Washington, where I majored in Communications Studies and Minored in Film Studies. I always had a passion for marketing and used this to work on-campus jobs where I marketed for student events.”
Eric is an integral part of the CR Powered by Epiroc family, as are all our employees. He describes his role in one sentence,
“My role is assisting with and coordinating events, demo days, and marketing material for mining products.”
And even better, in one word, “Exciting.”
Eric traveled to Brisbane, Australia, with CR Powered by Epiroc, where he attended a workshop with employees from around Australia and America. These travel opportunities, Eric says, are a highlight in his role as Marketing Coordinator,
“My favorite part of my role has to be the travel opportunities. Working at CR Powered by Epiroc, I have been able to travel to Seattle, Elko, Val-D’or, and Brisbane.”
Outside of the office (or the many planes!), Eric’s passions are his family, which includes his two dogs, horror movies, and having in-depth conversations about said horror movies.
When asked to describe how he thinks CR Powered by Epiroc is so different from the rest, he says,
“CR Powered by Epiroc is a fast-growing company that values individuality, dynamic growth, and collaboration. The ESG commitments CR Powered by Epiroc have made are also very important to me.”
Eric says he has received support from his leaders and wider team, who have guided him in the world of Marketing.
Our global team is made up of a diverse group of teammates from different backgrounds and professional experiences. We welcome new graduates through to senior-level employees. For many corporate roles, you don’t need a mining background. Not sure if you have the right experience? Learn more here.
